How to Find Event Photos
The photographer's pictures from our gatherings are posted on the member website. Recent monthly meetings, the holiday party, the annual charity event, and the Meet & Greet all have their photos up, and more get added after each event. Hundreds of them are already there.
The photos are organized by event
There is no single big album. Each event keeps its own set of photos, on that event's own page — so the holiday party pictures live with the holiday party, and the March meeting pictures live with the March meeting.
Open an event's page and scroll to the bottom. If photos have been posted for it, you will see a Photos heading with the number of pictures beside it, and a grid of small square previews underneath.
Getting to the right event page
Click Events in the left-hand sidebar. The top of that page lists what is coming up — the next meeting, the next dinner. Keep scrolling past it and you will find Past Event Photos, a list of every gathering that already has pictures posted, newest first. Click the one you want and you land on that event's page.
You can also use the email we sent about the event. Every event reminder and RSVP confirmation carries a View Event Details button, and that link keeps working long after the event is over. Either way, scroll to the bottom of the event page.
If an event you remember is not on the list and you cannot find the email, write to admin@metropolitanbmny.com and ask. We will send the link straight to you.

Beside the Photos heading there is a small navy ? button. That one brings you back to this page any time you need it.
Looking through them
Click any preview and the picture opens large, filling most of your screen.
- Use the arrows on the left and right sides to move through the set without closing anything. It loops around, so you can keep going.
- The counter at the bottom tells you where you are — 12 / 58.
- If the photographer wrote a caption, it appears under the picture.
- A few pictures carry a gold Featured tag in the corner of their preview. Those are the ones the board picked out as the best of the batch.
- The X in the top corner closes the large view and puts you back in the grid.
The grid fits two pictures across on a phone, three on a tablet, and four on a computer screen, so it is comfortable to browse on whatever you have in front of you.
Saving a photo you want to keep
With a photo open large, look at the top right corner — next to the X there is a small download arrow. Click it and the picture saves straight to your downloads folder. Nothing else to do.
Save as many as you like, one at a time. The saved copy is the full-size version, good enough to print.
Taking the whole set at once
Beside the Photos heading there is a Download All link. Click it and the entire event's pictures come down together in a single zip file. A large event can be hundreds of photos, so give it a minute to finish — and open the zip when it lands to get at the pictures inside.
If there is no Photos section
That means no pictures have been posted for that event yet. Photos come from the photographer after the event and get loaded in a batch, so there is usually a gap of a few weeks between the night itself and the pictures appearing. Nothing is wrong on your end — check back, or ask at the next meeting.
